Our family is very happy with our fathers care from the nursing staff (as needed), the individualized attention to involve him in a variety of activities, and guidance from the administrative staff re: financial aspe cts during his transition to Heritage Woods five months ago. Downsizing to smaller accommodations is always an adjustment, and he now seems content with the ease of his new lifestyle. He looks forward to mealtime in the Dining Room as an opportunity to share common interests with others while eating. As expected, there was an adjustment period of a few months, but he is now participating in activities that interest him. He particularly enjoyed the Rockford Christian Fellowship Band playing at the facility and the outing to the Veterans Memorial Hall. The activity opportunities are wonderful; having a van provided by the facility is a big plus. Thank you, Heritage Woods staff, for all you continue to do for the residents! more ... hide ...

If I could give this place no stars I sure would. If you can at all avoid this place please do. The place has roaches, mice, plumbing problems refrigerator that dont work and spoil your food and a staff that could care l ess about the living conditions even after multiple complaints and \"work orders\". After clearing still and them supposably plugging holes in the wall their are still mice dropping everywhere including my bed. This is a horrible place to live and anyone giving a good review is probably a staff member or the neighbors that get away with beating on their girlfriend. more ... hide ...

I recently live at a property from these people have been living there for more then 2 years now and since the covid 19 everything has been tough especially since Im a single mother with 4 kids .. my hours at work where cut and got covid and all my babies at the same time. I never missed a rent payment but Im recently backed up 3months of rent.. so these people decide to be funny and send of there maintaining guys to come Friday 05-28-21 around 3:30pm or 4pm to go and disconnect our electricity from our unit!!! How low to know I have a 4year old and 12 yr and other kids they didnt care to leave us with no power remind you it was freezing last night!!!!! Low scum people. Ill tell u one thing Ill make sure they get reported more ... hide ...
