The staff at River Crossing lack basic respect and communication skills. This was most apparent after our air conditioning broke, as it took almost two weeks for it to be fixed. During this time temperatures rose to 82 d egrees in apartment, which did not alarm the staff whatsoever. After assuring us that this was an \"urgent\" matter, we never heard from staff again unless we were the ones to reach out to them. It took threatening to take legal action for the staff to take our requests seriously. For whatever reason, the staff has an extremely difficult time providing basic maintenance for the amenities that are included in their leases.As with similar reviews, calling the leasing office is almost never successful when you have a problem, as they rarely answer the phone. The amount of miscommunication between staff members is astounding, considering they all work within fifty feet of each other in the office. When you do finally get ahold of someone, you are greeted by rehearsed responses no matter what concern you are raising. This is both unprofessional and impersonal in the way that they do business.The workout room is outdated. People steal the free weights, so including those in a workout isnt an option. Additionally, at any given time, there are children sitting on the work out machines watching TV. If you are encouraged by this included experience, dont be.The parking garage is a complete waste of money. The entrance/exit doors are always broken, and I have consistently found other cars and/or items in my parking spot. This makes me feel incredibly unsafe in this space that is supposed to be more secured that parking on the street.Overall this complex is dirty, the staff is lackadaisical in their efforts to help you, and it is simply not worth your time or money. If I could give this place zero stars I would. DO NOT MOVE HERE. more ... hide ...

Just moved here and I dont like it all definitely cant wait until my year is up. You have to buy your own washer and dryer no dishwasher and shovel your own snow for 1087 that should all be included also seen a r oach the 1st month I was here . Oh and you have to pay extra for a garage no central air one air conditioner and its downstairs. And its supposed to be low income but you have to buy and pay for everything Im over it dont even waste your time . The neighborhood is nice and so is the people thats where the one star comes in totally not worth living in such a miserable townhome the townhomes are not nice at all very ran down . You also have to pay a extra 55 dollars if you want to rent a garage. Also what they show you on the website and what you will move into are two different things . If you put in a maintenance request you dont hear back for several hours and they dont even fully fix the problem. Weve had a broken window since spring and all theyve done to fix it is put tape on it that says \"dont op en\" and its now almost August again with no word on when theyre fixing it. Every floor has at least one broken washer and dryer consistantly (and when property manager was informed he told me to call maintenance myself about all six broken units despite maintenance being with him when I spoke with him) and the elevator shakes and groans. The different residents have taken to leaving notes warning other residents about which washer and dryers are broken so that we all stop losing money (which they dont refund even with a formal complaint). They also recently decided to wash the windows so they entered the apartments and took out all the screens and then left the screens in the middle of the apartments for almost three weeks at this point even though windows have all been washed with no word on when they are replacing the screens. The mailboxes are crusted and hard to open due to a leak from the ceiling they never fully cleaned. Have spent the entire year without a call box number despite going down and requesting having one made several times. more ... hide ...
