It had well-insulated, soundproof units with great amenities such as dishwashers and openable windows. The laundry room could be improved; however, it had the bonus of being able to do multiple loads at once. Additionally, there is a bistro connected to the building that is run by an incredibly friendly guy. When I was living there, I found the onsite management to be excellent too - residents were diverse and polite/friendly. There is also a controlled access along with onsite parking (though I'm not sure how expensive it is). Although crime did get worse over my 7 year stay there, it wasn't nearly as bad as other parts of town; if you're careful enough you should be fine.
