We have lived in the Oaks for many years This place used to be a great place to live When the other resident manager Nakia was here it was great we had tenant meetings every month and maintenance issues were handled in a timely matter When the new co We have lived in the Oaks for many years This place used to be a great place to live When the other resident manager Nakia was here it was great we had tenant meetings every month and maintenance issues were handled in a timely matter When the new company took over and Nakia left it went to hell quickly Christy locked the bathroom doors in the hall so visitors had nowhere to use the bathroom except to go in the bedroom and use it There was not one tenant meeting in the six years she was resident manager The call box had not been working properly for two years and now it is not working at all This is supposed to be a secured building The emergency maintenance person lives over two hours away I sure hope the next company and resident manager does a better job and us able to get this place back to were it was more ... hide ...

Crime is minimal, if any it mostly involves tenant personal matters. The neighbors are amicable and communicative, the laundry works perfectly, maintenance requests are taken care of the same day, they are devoted to changing the air filters every three months and doing inspections. If they spot a problem, they take care of it without being asked. Past control is always on point, I had one issue and they worked diligently until it was rectified. They are incredibly kind and compassionate towards the tenants and their families. We have already extended our lease and we will continue to do so as long as Rosie and Nikia are managing the property. Sean from maintenance is great, he came to my house one day and knocked first, he asked if he could come in, and he gets maintenance requests done quickly. There are some people smoking herbs and cigarettes in their apartments but that can be easily dealt with. The rent is reasonable for people who don't have a millionaire's income and the place is close to the best BBQ joint in town.
