When I asked him what had happened, she complained that he had carried her tightly sealed salad and chicken strips in an oddly slanted bag. I checked the food and it was all secure, but the restaurant had packed it crookedly, which my son was only carrying as it had been given to us. She said she was phoning in a complaint, but there was no need. My son was disheartened and we were out in the pouring rain and slippery roads to make sure she got her food hot and ready to eat. I'm so sorry that I had to deliver food to this company and even more dismayed that it was this manager we encountered. If her purpose was to avoid tipping or to get her money refunded, it was a feeble attempt and speaks volumes about her character. I certainly wouldn't want to rent an apartment from somebody who doesn't appreciate the small acts of kindness like a delivery boy trying to help his mother during a storm!
