I was told two bedrooms were ready for immediate move-in, so I flew here and informed the property. They scheduled an appointment to view the apartment at 1pm yesterday, but no one was there and I received no call or email to reschedule. When talking with two different receptionists, one couldn't even schedule me for today due to being fully booked on appointments. People were waiting outside just like yesterday, including the mailman who had been turned away. As a voucher holder who only has a certain amount of time to search for a home, it is unprofessional to not show up or reschedule. Upon further inspection of the complex, I found that even the pool was disgusting while maintenance workers were still around; the website photos are extremely deceiving as well. To conclude my message: as someone who works with property managers/real estate agents daily, this kind of behavior is unacceptable; all it would have taken was a two minute phone call from you in order to reschedule us instead of wasting our time and money coming when you weren't available - and even then your call center could have offered assistance in notifying others that you weren't present. more ... hide ...
