In 2021, new proprietors - Cortland - began to expand across the country, especially in Denver, and acquired this community. They are a big corporation that only worries about their profits and gradually increasing the rent. The only funds they put into the community are cosmetic enhancements (exterior painting, swimming pool area, etc.) so as to make potential inhabitants think this is a nice place to stay. As for maintenance, the employees try their best but they are severely understaffed as Cortland operates on a restrictive budget and will not engage a suitable staff and offer above market wages. Our hot water heater ceased working 5-6 times in a span of 8 months...not to mention a burst pipe that discharged water all over our living room carpet. Do not get taken in by the "facilities." The movie room, recreation room, and lounge space close at 6 pm on weekdays and 1 pm on weekends when the leasing office closes. The exterior hot tubs are never serviced or cleaned. Kurt was really nice and did his best to make the dishwasher work better; however, there's still food residue on some dishes that were essentially hand-washed, and there's a film on other items. Despite this issue with appliances, my husband and I are very content with living here; it has a great layout for us--lots of living space and high ceilings along with big windows (although carpeting isn't ideal). We get to observe the ponds plus all the birds that come around yearly, especially the babies in springtime. The pool is also great (would be even better if open year-round!). We love all of the new trees planted recently too. The only downside is people who don't clean up after their pets or leave trash out over weekends which isn't allowed. Other than that, our neighbors are quiet and pleasant, plus we have a wonderful office staff and maintenance crew! more ... hide ...

I very much enjoyed this area and community great place to raise a family Very good location and close by to several amenities all within walking distance clean and safe area I would definitely recommend this to anyone
