Instead of sending professionals to investigate, they sent an air conditioning technician who proclaimed it is simply dirt and attempted to sweep it under the carpet. Dirt does not make someone ill, but the air inside the unit is so thick that it is detrimental to my health. On top of my existing health issues, this is too much for me to bear. I am searching for a new residence, as I am extremely dissatisfied with this place. I paid $1,500 to move in, so this is very disappointing. Had I known there was mold here, I would never have considered this residence. Additionally, we have not received new blinds, the door is still broken, the carpet has never been cleaned, and the stove was in poor condition. I cleaned it, yet it was never fixed. There was also a toilet leak. All three of their properties are managed by one landlord and a single maintenance worker. This is an excessive load for one person. Our air conditioning was not functioning correctly the entire time we stayed there, despite the multiple repair requests we made. Moreover, our tires were cut the second day after we moved in. The day after that, our vehicle was keyed around the entire perimeter and there were childish drawings scratched on the hood. We hadn't met anyone in the neighborhood at that point, so it couldn't have been someone with a problem. And since the landlords didn't think to install security cameras in the parking lot, there was no way to determine who did it. Children run around unsupervised and screaming all the time, leaving their bicycles and scooters in the middle of the parking lot overnight. They would sometimes sit on other people's cars, and if asked about it, they would try to fight and swear at the adult who spoke to them. Oh, and on top of that, they wouldn't provide us with functioning air conditioning. To sum up, stay away from any property owned by these people. more ... hide ...
