Although the apartments are small (1 bedroom - 550 square feet), my partial disability makes it easier for me to keep it clean as I can only be in one room at once. Nevertheless, it can be disorganized as there's no storage facility. I have a couple of hobbies which take up more room than I'm able to provide.We all have patios in front of our apartments - I adore spending time on mine as it's tranquil. Occasionally people will pass by and linger for a while and I find the informal talks to be the best.The pool is always properly maintained. Also, you can take part in activities hosted by Fountain of the Sun and their volunteers. Sun Villa is placed inside a larger 55+ community with a golf course, and various other activities.We feel secure here since we are behind a gate and there's a guard.Take note: there are problems living here - it's not flawless...but do you recognize any complex/HOA where they don't have issues? Sun Villa isn't appropriate for everybody. If parking your vehicle in a covered spot is essential, this isn't the place for you. SV is a central mail delivery area - that means we don't get post on Saturdays. If that's a problem for you, perhaps you should look elsewhere.I'm truly content living here and more ... hide ...

My rent increased from approx 625 to 850 in 4 years And that price was for a 400 sq ft Studio apt A living roomkitchen combo room a bathroom and a closet The apt has the appearance of a 1960 motel room The reason I rented there was of the price the My rent increased from approx 625 to 850 in 4 years And that price was for a 400 sq ft Studio apt A living roomkitchen combo room a bathroom and a closet The apt has the appearance of a 1960 motel room The reason I rented there was of the price the security I never got to go inside an apt there until the day I moved in The carpet should have been replaced before I moved in It looked like the kitchen was not painted The granite countertops they boast about are pieces of granite patched together unevenly My Apt did not have stainless steel appliances beware they will charge extra if your apt has them The studio apartment has 1 window airheat unit that never shuts off You also have to pay HOA fees for Fountain of the Sun regardless if you use the facilities If you can afford to live here my suggestion would be to check out the Solstice over 55 apartments almost across the street They are only about 40 more They are brand new and you can have a bedroom and a washdryer in your unit more ... hide ...

I have lived here at Sun Villa for 7 years now and love being here My place is beautiful and I have met so many new friends since moving to Arizona We have fun activities and field trips every month
