This apartment and office was great when we first moved in and had no issues Now in 3 years this has been the 3rd owner and some of the owners in the office are not friendly at all Back gate has been broken for a month front gates are open 247 so anyThis apartment and office was great when we first moved in and had no issues Now in 3 years this has been the 3rd owner and some of the owners in the office are not friendly at all Back gate has been broken for a month front gates are open 247 so anyone can come and go whe it was supposed to be a gated community Now renovated apartment was great at first and then things started breaking air conditioning unit kept leaking and caused water damage in the hallway Doors and cabinets are very flimsy and now for a 3 bedroom apartment they are raising rent from 1545 to 1798 a month and now require renters insurance No pool access for months gym has barely any equipment and everything that was promised when we moved to renovated apartment at 400 extra s month nothing has been done 300 increase too 1800 3 bed 2 bath apartment in a horrible area is not worth the price This isnt Scottsdale but yet are charged Scottsdale prices ad all the residents we have talked too feel the same way Weve never paid rent late and have been a great resident for 3 years here Its ridiculous that a new owner comes in and increases rates that high when thre is nothing to show for the rent increase Please dont move here unless you want to pay outrages rent prices have cars broken into cars vandalized no pool access little gym equipment and not have items fixed in a timely manner Knowing them we wont eveb get a portion of our deposit back we paid 3 years ago when we move out even after taking special care of the apartment even with having 2 kids where one is a 5 year old boy who can get rowdy I wouldnt even give them a 1 star rating because some of the rwsietns here are not friendly kids are up at all hours of night screaming and has even given death threats to our daughter PLEASE looks elsewhere because people that have moved here even just a couple months ago have regretted it and wants to move out ASAP Cops are here at least 3 times a week and there was someone killed not right next to our building a few months ago If you have kids its not safe at all for them heremore ...hide ...
So far the property and floor plans look awesome and management is very professional From everything they showed me seems like a great start for my family and I to be moving here from California

Keep looking Not worth the money Roaches are very present and the people have not been very friendly If you have kids please consider all other options first

I've been residing in Sun Villa for 6 1/2 years and I'm genuinely fond of my apartment's area (with 6 courtyards). Although the apartments are small (1 bedroom - 550 square feet), my partial disability makes it easier foI've been residing in Sun Villa for 6 1/2 years and I'm genuinely fond of my apartment's area (with 6 courtyards). Although the apartments are small (1 bedroom - 550 square feet), my partial disability makes it easier for me to keep it clean as I can only be in one room at once. Nevertheless, it can be disorganized as there's no storage facility. I have a couple of hobbies which take up more room than I'm able to provide.We all have patios in front of our apartments - I adore spending time on mine as it's tranquil. Occasionally people will pass by and linger for a while and I find the informal talks to be the best.The pool is always properly maintained. Also, you can take part in activities hosted by Fountain of the Sun and their volunteers. Sun Villa is placed inside a larger 55+ community with a golf course, and various other activities.We feel secure here since we are behind a gate and there's a guard.Take note: there are problems living here - it's not flawless...but do you recognize any complex/HOA where they don't have issues? Sun Villa isn't appropriate for everybody. If parking your vehicle in a covered spot is essential, this isn't the place for you. SV is a central mail delivery area - that means we don't get post on Saturdays. If that's a problem for you, perhaps you should look elsewhere.I'm truly content living here andmore ...hide ...

Its always loud. Kids are always screaming. They trash everything. Your mail will get stolen very quickly forcing you to use the package delivery system that you are forced to pay for.
