All I wanted to do was try to negotiate a possible way around the waiting list and when I tried to talk to her she got visibly angry. Seemed like I was incredible bother to her just by being there. I quickly left, not wanting to experience any more of this womans rudeness. I really wish I had never heard of this place. It was VERY small. If you were to walk in? youre in the the main apt. One rectangle room and a bathroom and a small kitchenette. Sink was on top and below that was a small refrigerator. Perfect for a 18-19 yr old kid.If I were to look out my window I would see Skillman Ave. Believe it or not, my rent was only $275.00/mo. all utilities included Except for phone/cable. No cell phones back then so the only way of communication was a landline. So many years ago but I was just 18-19 yrs old. Again, it was a good place to live back then. But I see its a slum now. After reading some of the comments, it just makes me sick. BUT! its the sign-of-the-times. I just thought I share my own experience aaaannd maybe Im running down memory lane...lol.
