Because my son had an allergy doctor's note stating he was sensitive to cockroaches, they let me out of my lease early - I got everything out by September 26th and gave them the keys in October (due to time spent at Children's Hospital with my son). However, I recently received a notice in the mail that said I had to pay rent for October - which is wrong since my move-out date was at the end of September. Every attempt made to contact them about this issue has been unanswered; all evidence such as phone records, photos of roaches taken on specific dates, copies of 30-day notices and other tenants' confirmation that we moved out before October have been kept for proof.
