Furthermore, the manager rarely showed up during business hours, and they never returned calls or answered when contacted. Because my son had an allergy doctor's note stating he was sensitive to cockroaches, they let me out of my lease early - I got everything out by September 26th and gave them the keys in October (due to time spent at Children's Hospital with my son). However, I recently received a notice in the mail that said I had to pay rent for October - which is wrong since my move-out date was at the end of September. Every attempt made to contact them about this issue has been unanswered; all evidence such as phone records, photos of roaches taken on specific dates, copies of 30-day notices and other tenants' confirmation that we moved out before October have been kept for proof.
