What I had an issue with was the dealing with of my holding deposit. Any other property I had applied at and proposed refundable holding deposits would either call and tell me how long I had to get my refund before it would be withheld, or they would mail it back to me. Sierra Pointes management never mentioned a time limit on when I had to retrieve my holding deposit when they left a voice mail about the status of my application, and when I didn't observe it arrive in the mail I went in to see if I could still get it. When I went into the office, again, I was greeted very gruffly and when I asked if there was a chance I could still take my holding deposit, the woman at the front desk quickly retorted with a very discourteous "well I don't know who you are," instead of a simple "what was the name on the application?"
