It took more than a month for a new air conditioning unit to be installed in an elderly lady's apartment, as the home office in Utah was hesitant to spend money on the repair. It took a lot of effort to get it done, and the staff were not honest, causing delays. Without somebody helping to keep them accountable, you may be taken advantage of. Obtaining your deposit back when vacating can also be difficult. It is important to be aware of the Kansas Statute that allows you to demand a refund within 30 days. They used to have a great manager onsite, Heather, but she was let go when the complex was sold. I didnt like it then, I dont know why I thought I would like it living there as an adult. The building is poorly maintained and there are problems with roaches and bedbugs. The regular property manager is rude and lazy. It doesnt take long to see that. Of the many who sat behind the managers desk, there was only one, in the year and a half I resided there that made improvements and treated people decently.
