The manager is a tyrant who likes to fabricate rules that only apply to certain tenants. She is often absent from her office, and if she is present she locks the door and ignores knocks. To make matters worse, she is indolent; for instance, both dryers have not been working for about a year and the only way to get clothes dry is to pay for two cycles at a cost of $2.50 for one load. We have all complained to the manager for a year and she has either said she will take care of it or that everyone is drying too many clothes. This is a community of people on social security, with only two tenants and the manager having cars. Therefore, we all go elsewhere to do laundry, except for when I don't have the time. Every time I use the ones here, the same dryer issue arises. Consequently, I got fed up and called the laundry company myself, who were more than happy to come out and fix them. When I asked when the last maintenance request was, I was told it was two years ago. She hadn't even placed a call. This is only a fraction of the never-ending list of problems. more ... hide ...
