Roaches, roaches, roaches, and if you can handle it, still expect to see some roaches. However, if you are low income, it is a good place to live. It is next to the police station, bus stops and 10 min walk to bus stati on, San Joaquin county department of human services, and every year they have a Filipino festival. It is also close to DMV, waterfront,tons of restaurants, work net.Farmers market every year in the area. They also have a CNA training school there, its expensive though, so I didnt go. There were a few different restaurants there while I lived there, but there was one Filipino restaurant downstairs next to a Chinese bakery that was phenomenal. The Chinese bakery was great too. Its a nice place to live if youre low income, but the roaches is the only downfall. They spray pesticide every few months. I really appreciated living there the 4 and a half years I was there, because I couldnt afford to, or didnt qualify to live anywhere else that didnt have pest and was better. Also the staff and my neighbors were very kind. A place that left me with plenty of good memories. Met some good people. But also have to be careful because there are some crazy people and druggies that hang around and may even sneak in the building.
