When I first moved in this year in May, the apartment had a lot of spider webs at the front door. Then the lights outside the apartment were off which is dangerous when you live on the basement level at the back of the b uilding near a small bunch of trees and a ditch. It also had leaves, trash, dust, and cigarette buts strewn about on the stairs and the walkway to my apartment. When you first walk in, the apartment looks neat and fixed, but as you look around, there are a ton of issues that were just covered with a band-aid. There are holes near the kitchen cabinets, bathroom mirrors, sprinklers, and a couple of the vents. Some of the sockets arent secured on the wall and some do not work. I was recently told that they will not pay for an electrician to fix an issue that was there before i moved in. There is a bug issue which i equate to the trees and foliage, but upon further inspection, some of it was due to the fact that my windows have holes on the side of them. I also notice those windows are nailed down so I am unable to open them in case of an emergency or fresh air. In order to solve my bug problem, ive bought a lot of bug poison to help rid my home of waterbugs, house centipedes, silver fish, and red beetles. I also covered my vents around my home. Another issue Ive had within a short amount of time is the plumbing issue. My bathroom has an issue with the plumbing in the tub. I complained in the beginning about it not being fixed because it would shake when you simply touch the faucet. Later the pipe burst in the wall and flooded not only my bathroom, but also my livingroom next to my electrical equipment and where my children play, and in my kitchen. It took them 2 or more weeks to finally fix it. It wasnt completely fixed as the faucet is still partially hanging off the wall and it wasnt set back the way it was when i first moved in. Last is the a/c issue. Only one bedroom in my house does not have adequate air flow. It is very hot in one room and possibly might have a rodent in the vent. Some of these issues have been fixed or half fixed, or not at all. I feel I have wasted my time and money on this place. I do not recommend moving here at all more ... hide ...
