I lived here a bit longer than 2 years. I lived within the second entrance. I had a pest problem about a week after moving in, and not alot. Dont get me wrong, I saw one to two roaches but pro Tip, I guarantee youll neve r see a live one again: Borax powder. If you have kids keep it out of reach, its very toxic. If you have busy kids, Id suggest putting it down around creases of the house while they are sleep or at school. So they wont even think to look for it. If too much comes out in one area, just use a broom.The people: for the most part, when you mind your business they mind theirs. Its a balance. When the kids are outside you dont typically see adults outside with them (they can see from their windows) and the playground isnt much of anything, so if you arent about that, havre de grace isnt that far of a drive and the park is amazing..(bring a jacket) you are by water. But children are there with parents, its never too crowded. Also, the park by the library is really nice and convenient.A hint for getting towards the gas station and Walmart area when walking, do not take the ramp. Make a left from the complex and keep straight go across the street keep straight and youll know when to turn right because youll see the train from there. Ull take the steps under the train and youll already be across the street from beacon staffing in less than 15 min. My overall experience was good.Tip: ALWAYS GET RENTERS INSURANCE. DO NOT SKIP THIS. it will save you more money in the long run and you might get a check if there are any plumbing issues.
