My mom was here 3 months before she passed. She had dementia and other illnesses but I never thought she would only live 3 months after placing her here. I couldnt care for her alone anymore. The rooms were not cleaned p roperly, majority of the staff were not caring nor compassionate. My mom fell several times and they did not want to put an alarm to know when she was trying to get up for the bathroom. She was not used to going in a diaper. They want the patients to be drugged up so they can just lay in the bed. My mom contracted uti, refused to eat, refused dialysis as she didnt like the facility, the treatment etc. There was one nurse she loved and some CNAs. The food was nasty and not fit for seniors. To this day, almost 3 months later, noone has contacted me to offer condolences for mothers passing. During hospice, they did not want to give her the pain medication as recommended as they claim she was not in pain. She could no longer verbally tell you that but you could see she was uncomfortable. Please take your family someplace else. These other reviews cannot be for the long term care. My mom was on the east wing. more ... hide ...
