i have lived here for a bit. it used to be a nice place, not transient, you knew your neighbors, quiet. now someone moves out every day and new apartments are always available. i think the problem is after years or pr edictable, steady yet reasonable increases in rent, management has decided to increase rents a lot. $167/month, $125/month, $179/month that is a lot for a two bedroom apartments. and these are not in Pond View (the more expensive section) but in Westbrook (its less expensive cousin). in my mind, its price gouging. other complexes are doing it, so Westbrook is going to do it. everyone is mad. the tenants have developed a total disrespect for management and are doing as they please. two families have recently purchased dogs in my cats only building. and they just open the back door and let them go or they let them pee on the front steps. parking; parking is tough. dont move here if you own a truck. dont move here if you own a full sized family sedan. the garbage situation is also a bit odd, you have to load up your car and drive over to one central trash compactor which works sometimes. i used to get upset when it was broken but now i realize its just easier, leave your stuff on the floor and go. i wasnt able to lift the bags up to the mouth of the trash compactor anyhow and i was tired of asking for help. and we have started to get emails from management about infractions of the rules. again, i think it is the rent increases. people who are treated fairly, tend to give back. people who see $179/month increases in rent, tend to not care. they are too busy working second jobs to pay their rent. its not a bad development, but it is way overpriced. more ... hide ...

The apartments are very nice all the rooms are a great size. Everyone has a patio and the view in the back is beautiful because its very open. The manager is such a nice guy. And when something needs to be fixed they com e right away. It feels like your own house because all the apartments are one floor. Theres a big community room that you can go in and relax watch TV play games theres a pool table and a ping pong table there too and the full kitchen! They keep the outside very clean! They know the one and they get rid of any snow thats out there. I would recommend this place to anybody I know. I hope this was helpful! more ... hide ...

If you are thinking of moving, think about it very, not everything that looks beautiful is, today was my last day with these people, people who have a short-tempered maintenance person that I rarely had to deal with duri ng my stay to avoid seeing him. old heating appliances and endless problems, parks full of garbage and the garbage container on the floors, it is not a quiet place inside and outside of it if you live on the first floor you can hear everything and if you live in the Second, I imagine it would be the same, so the problem is not those who live there, but rather poor quality of housing and orderly staff. It is up to you, friend, if you are looking for a new home, look calmly and do not be fooled ... more ... hide ...
