My grand parents live there and the building is roach infested. You could smell it. Seniors live in this building and roaches bring germs and bacteria. They just dont have it under control. They need to seal the holes un der the sinks, base boards and entrance doors to every apartment. Management are layed back. more ... hide ...

As of April 2022 these have been my observations in a unit in one of the MAKOR apartments. I do wish I knew a few more details before I decided to sign a lease at this property nonetheless hope this helps someone in thei r decision making. A home should be a place where you feel comfortable & so its important to know as much information about a property before choosing it as a home. See below for what Ive experienced so far. PROS:1- The large appliances in my apartment were new2- The floor was polished3- The view of the trees & plants in the inner court is nice.4-Assigned parking is available (which sold me)5- Close enough to Newark airport6- The maintenance man comes in due time for emergencies.CONS:1- There was a ant & roachª issue before I took it upon myself to treat them with borax acid2- The floor squeaks in certain areas in my apartment (thank god Im not below anyone).3- If anyone in the building smokes cigarettes in their apartment you will smell it in the hallway and also enters your apartment through the vents & different little holes (second hand smoking ¬). I complained & nothing was really done. Wish I knew they allowed smoking.3- Noise Issue (train horns (New Jersey transit nearby), emergency vehicle sirens, loud mufflers from cars/ motor cycles & etc.4- All the machines in the laundromat arent working properly5- You can hear whenever someone is having a conversation or arguing in the hallway as well as when they are entering the building especially when the slam door closes.Goodluck!! more ... hide ...

They told us about a two bedroom place for $965 & would only show my Senior citizen mother the $1,100 two bedroom place. Nice corner unit but above all parking garage & way too far a walk from front door for 94 year old mother with a walker that has a rest seat. No floor plan available either. more ... hide ...
