Very expensive for market rate units. A fair portion is subsidized which wouldnt matter except that with the materials that they use (cheap laminate, leaky home depot special faucets, carpet with no carpet pad, rubber m embrane instead of baseboard in the kitchen, etc.) Youd think they all were. Some of the outlets dont work or they spark. There is an ongoing ant problem and you have to call the office each time you have an issue and wait until the following Friday for any action to be taken; no proactive management. I pay $1700 a month and the walls werent painted and the cabinets were covered in a sticky film when I moved in. The hard-wired fire alarms go off when you cook almost anything and they have a bare-bones maintenance staff that just doesnt have time for you. In the snow, they do plow and shovel, but they often tow cars outside of the hours posted unless you catch them. There is no policing of resident activity with dog feces, parking, noise, etc. The walls are thin enough that I can smell what my neighbor is cooking for dinner. There are no fans in the bathrooms, so theres a black mold problem and you will be scolded because they expect you to leave your window open while you shower.The staff, while primarily friendly (with a few exceptions) is clearly stressed out and you always feel like youre interrupting them if you call. My neighbor works for the office and is a prime example of poor resident conduct. more ... hide ...

I Grow up in evergreen since I was born till I moved out when I was 18 with my parents back in 1989 evergreen was not the greatest place to live but I learned to adapt to it growing up so it wasn€™t that bad but now I €Â™m older and I€™m looking for a first time move out and I might go back to my roots but evergreen sure changed a lot since I been there overall evergreen a good place to experience but definitely not a good permanent life style if you have big dreams more ... hide ...
