Getting ready to move in very excited, seems like a descent place to live.,management really screwed up, people that work for them can flirt with other neighbors and make inappropriate jesters and when repoted,its your work against theirs, and they know what type of person they have working for them poor excuse for management. I lived here several years ago as a child and it was always a nice place to live then so now that Im looking for somewhere for my boyfriend and I to move on our own I wanted to stop by here. I had talked to the woman sev eral times on the phone and she said we could stop by anytime before 4 and talk to her about what would be available soon. When we got here there was nowhere to park at the office so we had to park farther up the road on the curve and walk. Upon arriving inside the woman acted like it was an inconvenience that we were even there. I tried to talk to her but she would only hand me a business card and told me to check the website in a few weeks. The card was useless because I already had all the information on it. My boyfriend then spoke up and said he was about to graduate college. Only then did she perk up and act interested in helping. I guess she wasnt fond of my appearance and thought Id have no money to pay rent. Although the place still looks as nice as it did 10+ years ago I am no longer interested in coming here due to the way I was spoken to. more ... hide ...

The complex seems well-kept, and the apartment we toured was very nice inside. It is also conveniently located for our purposes. The woman who help us was kind and helpful, but she didnt know how to answer many of the qu estions we had, despite being an actual resident in addition to working in the office. Not really that big of a deal, but certainly not the kind of experience one might expect when potential tenants are looking for a new home.The worst part of the experience was trying to actually apply for an apartment. They wouldnt get an application started for us in the office, despite being there in person. When we asked if we could have them put our name on a specific apartment just to be sure it wouldnt be snapped up before we could fill out the online application at home, there was nothing they could do. When we tried to fill out the online application, the apartment we were interested in did not appear to be available.We contacted the staff for help, and it took hours to hear back. The response was that we should apply for a different (smaller) apartment, using a different move-in date, then they would update our application with the correct apartment. By this point, we decided to look elsewhere.I imagine this apartment complex is fine once you get into an apartment. But getting to that point seems unnecessarily difficult. more ... hide ...

Westwood Village Preservation Apartments is an excellent neighborhood. I have been part of it for about two years. The environment is beautiful, full of plants, clean and safe. Patsy is a great manager and a wonderful w arm heart person always smiling ready to give you a caring hand and all the supporting staff are like a family member, consistently friendly and helpful.
