I applied for an apartment at this place and the first time the manager Latoya Saunders kept me and my late husband on the waiting list for so long we gave up and after my husband passed away I applied again. I learned a lot from this manager. Ms. Saunders stated to me it was a good thing I was 62 because if I wasnt she would put me on the waiting list because she didnt want anyone in there under 62 and the people that were there now that was under 62 she would find a way to get them out. After filing out my application and this manager realize I was from New Orleans she then begin to send me through changes. She asked for a bank statement when I brought her that with the other information she then said that she needed 4 bank statements. She then found out I had a negative on my credit report. I then told her they deleted it because I disputed it and it was removed. I asked her to run the credit report again she refused stating that the main office would not do it. I called corporate office and found out that it could be done. Ms. Saunders attitude when she learned I was from New Orleans was very unprofessional. You dont discriminate against a person because they are from another city. I am an american citizen. I wonder did she do this when she put her mom in those apartments and Im quite sure she went ahead other people to put her there. So if you are under 62 Ms. Saunders has promised you will be on the waiting list. She does not want to rent to anyone unless they are 62 and older. more ... hide ...

These Apartments are now called Da Vinci Square and managed by Nola Developers. I have been here for a couple of months. These Apartments were not ready for people to move into but they still moved people in and the tena nts here have had to keep putting in maintenance requests for things to get done. These are newly renovated Apartments with Brand new stoves, sinks, refrigerator and blinds. However... there has been no laundry site here, meaning paying tenants are having to go to the Laundromat to do their Laundry. They finally put in washers and dryers last week but havent bothered to notify the tenants that this facility is now available. The gates here dont work properly. There seems to be a way to have the gate unlocked even when the gate is closed and until you dont figure out how to put this in the lock position, anyone can walk in here and walk around. The security here needs to be tighter. There is a broken gate at the back and people who dont even live here, just walk in and around and Nola Developers know about this but havent done anything about it. There was so much glue on the floor of my Apartment, I have had to clean the floor 4 times with a brillo pad and the glue still seeps up from between the flooring. It is quiet over here so far but these Apartments are next to Saia park which is taken over by African Americans who openly smoke marijuana, drink alcohol in front of children and the Park Rangers just sit there and dont do nothing. Dont take your children to that park. There is no such things as a Police Lounge like they claim. I dont know what the Police Lounge is supposed to do or mean?! There are just paying tenants living here. There is an apartment here that smells of weed when I walk by, I guess Nola Developers dont care about that either. more ... hide ...
