My wife and I needed a place to stay for a few months until we closed on our house in Middletown and Cheri with the leasing office and the staff were very accommodating and really helped us out when we were in a tough sp ot. They were great to work with! The property is well kept and very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anybody else looking for a short or long term lease. more ... hide ...

An elderly friend of mine has been a resident at Minnisink for several years. Though her studio apartment is a bit small/tight, she seems comfortable. As her adult children dont appear to be a part of her life, I stay in touch with her regularly. I, also have had an altercation with the Manager, Kimberly. While entering the apartment complex, my foot wasnt even on the gas peddle, yet she began lecturing me about the speed limit. I tried twice to tell her that my foot wasnt on the peddle, and that the car was slowing down from 20mph to 18mph. My answer apparently was unacceptable, as she continued to tell me that the (senior) person that I was visiting would be held accountable for my speeding. I then just said, \"Have a nice day\". My senior friend has had several altercations with her. She talks down to them as if they - the residents - are jail inmates. About 2 1/2 years ago, I was trying to get in touch with my senior friend, where I thought the worst had happened to her, that she was either unconscious or even dead in her apartment. I left a phone message with the office, explaining my concern, giving my name, tel#, etc. I never received a reply, nor did my elderly friend ever receive a phone call from the office. And yes, this manager has a Florida license plate. Law requires for anyone with an out of state plate, must reside in that state for X-amount of days per year for it to be a primary residence. Ive been here about a year and a half. The building is from the 70s, so its not a brand new apartment. There are tons of cracks everywhere and thick coats of spackle showing previous repairs.The unit has lots of storage space. My single bedroom size is generous with room for a king mattress. The laundry is on site, $1.50 per cycle.The snow removal is a joke. The playground area was torn down. Never got to use the pool. There were parking rules posted, a couple of cars towed but they wont remove non working vehicles or units with more than two vehicles.I was told I had water bugs. They do not look like any water bugs to me, kinda look like something else. To be fair, Ive only seen two. more ... hide ...

Such a miserable experience. We got harassed for months about a leak in another apartment that we didnt cause. (The apartment downstairs continued to leak after we moved out). The laundry facilities are dirty , people take your clothes out and throw them everywhere, and people have told me theyve seen raccoons stand on the washers. The property manager treats you like you are such an inconvenience and has a terrible attitude. I can not say how quick I wanted to get out of those apartments.
