Terrible parking situation and a handful of other issues, mainly with cleanliness. Management puts the minimum amount of effort into addressing them and very clearly could not care less. Only redeeming quality is their being located right next to Highway 169. more ... hide ...

Well, Gosh, Im not an important local guide but I guess anyone can just go on a rental property and politically editorialize, so here goes!I LOVE what they did to this property, especially the fact that they KEPT IT AFFORDABLE. Did you know Minneapolis has one of the worst rates of affordable housing in the country??? Theres plenty luxury housing everywhere you look. Its ridiculous.Ive known several artists that lived and live here. Real, talented, hard-working, community-enriching creators that gave/give back in a real way. One person studied in Paris with one of the leaders of their craft and brought it back to Minnesota. There are so many factors that make people truly RICH. It must be confusing and terrifying to try to grasp a paradigm that takes high risk and throws everything into hard work, talent and learning, practicing, perfecting without money as a motivator. Or maybe, somebody just needs a darn roof over their head and they arent as fortunate as you are. There will always be a spread.Nothing wrong with calling out false advertising or bad management either. Ive seen public housing that is clean, quiet and well kept- recently too- visiting a friend of mine that suffered an out-of-the-blue, life-changing stroke in her 20s. So maybe they need to screen, enforce or staff better, because public housing is a great public service. Hopefully these issues have improved by the attention that was brought to the issues raised. In the meantime, count your blessings, every single day, and dont ever let yourself fall into an entitled mindset. But for God go I. Be glad for the generosity you share. It used to be built into our communities. Youre doing just fine and you live in a GREAT PLACE. Not everyone can be (fill in favorite One Percenter here) for Gods sake. Capitalism is devouring itself! Never enough.*Hope you solve this issues at the location! more ... hide ...

I lived here from May 2014 to Feb 2016, terrible building; filthy, loud, scary, disrespectful management, crime ridden. Aimco doesnt appear to care who they rent to. I had neighbors who would fight, slam each other agai nst the walls, run up and down the halls screaming at each other and slam their door. I complained every time it happened (when I was home to hear it) yet when I moved out they still lived there!10 floors in this building and the elevators are broken quite often. The stairwells are locked so you dont have the option to use them (you can walk down them but not up) so at times you can be stuck waiting for the one and only working elevator for a very long time. This building is a disgrace to Minneapolis, especially being so close to the convention center. more ... hide ...
