I love my beautiful apartment community at Myrtle Oaks Apartments! We have a loving and caring management staff and a the very best maintenance guy anybody could ask for! Ive lived in a lot of different apartments in 9 years, but this has to be the worst including the gross apartments in college. I submit 1-2 maintenance requests a month. Windows have visible gaps as well as front doo r which makes this apartment extremely inefficient for energy. Toilet constantly runs, and shower is almost impossible to turn off unless i use a towel. Bugs are consistent and i clean very regularly. The best part is that the office never answers phone calls or emails. And when you do submit maintenance request they talk to you like youre 5 years old. I expressed my concern that I can feel the outside air coming into the apartment. I was told I simply dont know how to close a window and after a demonstration was expected to show I now had the newfound knowledge to close said window. I dont feel comfortable contacting maintenance since Ive been talked to in a condescending manor every time. Im counting down the months until my lease is up. more ... hide ...
