I first moved to these apartments back in 2017nThe staff was great maintenance was awesomenEverything was just wonderfulnnI renewed my lease in 2018 then they changed management and things started to declinenAttitude was given when phone was answered I first moved to these apartments back in 2017nThe staff was great maintenance was awesomenEverything was just wonderfulnnI renewed my lease in 2018 then they changed management and things started to declinenAttitude was given when phone was answered which was not very oftennMaintenance started slacking even you had a puddle forming from a leak anywhere in apartmentnnI did not renew my lease in 2019 I movednnI came back in November of 2021 because this was only place that had a unit availablennSo November 2021 I did application Waited for confirmation call to sign lease Came to office to sign lease Received lots of attitude from Hilda and the one statement that should have made me leave was You do realize I am doing you a favor I dont have to let you stay here because you have poor rental historynFact of the matter I have literally stayed 3 places in my adult liven1 park village apartments 2 yearsn2 Bellshire apartment 1 yearn3 an actual house 1 yearnAnd at all place my rent was on time even when my income was on hold due to medical issues and all lease were stayed out til endnnIm a nice person so I just brushed it offnnHad my first maintenance issue here around the end of January 2022 it was the ac they came fixed itnIt broke again in February no answer ok so next go to was fans and open windowsnResult was bugs made request for pest control from Feb to March no responsenMarch I noticed lots of nearby units getting exterminations noticed bedbugs in my apartment Put request for thatbad responsenApril continued with requests for ac and bugs requests deleted off online platformsnHere we are in May 2022 and no maintenance no pest no nothing but attitude and an eviction noticenSo yea long story shortnDO NOT MOVE HERE more ... hide ...

I looked into Park Village Apartments for my disabled parents and brother I read some of the reviews but I also talked to people who live here Online reviews are one side of a story and people shocker dont always tell the truth when theyre mad things I looked into Park Village Apartments for my disabled parents and brother I read some of the reviews but I also talked to people who live here Online reviews are one side of a story and people shocker dont always tell the truth when theyre mad things didnt go their waynnLet me start this off by saying that the paperwork can be complicated to fill out This is housing that fills a much needed gap for those whos income falls higher than poverty level but not high enough to obtain housing in a more expensive apartment complex Understand there is some bureaucracy that must be served Also understand that the staff do not set these rulesnnThat being said the staff at Park Village were utterly and unequivocally phenomenal I dealt with Sonia almost exclusively during the application process and she is hands down one of the most patient and wonderful people I have ever met She literally went line for line down the paperwork to explain understanding that its complicated to complete and helped me get everything filled out just so As I mentioned before you have to understand these are not HER rules These are the rules that have been set forth by the management company Bless her I probably drove her crazy having to fill stuff out sometimes three times and resubmit paperwork because I didnt do it correctlynnAs to the property due to my job I go into a lot of different complexes and see a lot of different types of houses and apartments Park Village is not brand new but it is clean and safe They do their best to make sure its kept that way too The grounds were kept clean and free of trash None of the dumpsters had trash around it like Ive seen at even some of the more expensive complexes I can tell that the staff take pride in their grounds When we had a couple of small issues during the walkthrough she and her supervisor immediately and profusely apologized and took responsibility for it even though in my opinion it wasnt their fault Before we even got the door closed the maintenance person was there to deal with it and make it rightnnIll close out my review by mentioning one of the big things I noticed a LOT of kids were outside playing That says something to me That says parents are okay letting their kids play outside because they know theyre safe Even though my parents are older and dont have any children it made me feel safer knowing theyre therennI know that this sounds like one of those gushing paid reviews that the internet is riddled with Theres nothing I can say to convince you that it is genuine Just give them a chance and remember to be patient They have their rules to follow and they do want to rent to you more ... hide ...
