The following week he came out and single-handedly replaced my water heater located on the second story balcony of the apartment building. The quality of the apartment is okay, but the floors are rolling, the laundry doors misaligned, the shower tiles not aligned, the garage ceiling has water damage, and the patio roof leaking from the unit above. We signed a 15-month lease in March 2021 for a base rent of $1549/mo. Our unit is now being offered on the market since April 2022 for a base rent of $2379/mo, which is a 53.58% increase! To be clear, our renewal offer was for $2,008/mo for 14 months, reflecting only a 29.63% rise in base rent instead of the 53% increase the next tenant will have to pay. more ... hide ...
