We applied in March, got pre-approved, and anticipated that we would be advised about our move in date by mid-April/early May. We never got our move in date and contacted/emailed several times to get more information about our unit. We were even told that they had no knowledge and did not visit the renovators on a daily basis, which was a great cause for concern to us as they should be seeing their renovators every day particularly if they said renovations would be finished by June. After receiving virtually no information and being disregarded, we decided to do some investigating and read reviews that were posted within the last few weeks/month describing the same position we were in. One review even said that after they applied, management declared that the remakes wouldn't be finished until October. Additionally, on their website, it states the soonest availability for their units is in September. This caused us a lot of stress, especially since we needed to move into a new place by June and so we had applied in March to prevent such a situation. They recently posted a picture of a tidy laundry room with a soda machine on their district Facebook page, but that's a lie. The rent we pay for this apartment is outrageous considering these conditions. The pool? What pool? It's revolting. They have given a variety of excuses for that. The people in the office will tell you anything; usually, you can't rely on what they say. We requested a lock for our mailbox back in February, and yet, it hasn't been done as of July 18, 2022. When my husband asked again, we were told that since ours is the only occupied unit needing a lock, it wasn't going to get done. Unbelievable! Maintenance has known about the leaking faucet for a while, and my husband was informed last Thursday that they had taken our keys to fix it, but surprise, it still hasn't been done. This is unacceptable; things are expensive enough, and to have our money literally going down the drain is ridiculous. The shower knob is dripping, and the water is running underneath the tub and probably the floor, but it's obvious they're in no hurry to fix it. more ... hide ...
