EDIT: This place truly sucks. I am applying to rent a house and they are trying to reach out to Saguaro Villas to get my rental history, but Saguaro Villas has not responded for a whole day. I have been a good tenant the se past 9 months and cant believe I am being treated like this.Cons:-awful paint smell in the beginning (more on that below), even after 9 months it comes back sometimes-cigarette smoke in the outdoor spaces half the time-clothes ripped by the laundry machines (see photo for example)-No microwave-Heater smells like urine, had to buy a space heater instead-hubcap was stolen from my car while parked here. I noticed that several cars parked nearby had theirs missing as well.When I first moved in, the paint smell was so strong I got a headache after the 1st night. Called the front office and Miranda said to open a window, which I did all night for a month (I couldnt even stand to live there for the 1st week). Whenever I closed the windows, the paint smell would come back¦so I spent a couple hundred dollars on an air purifier. Even now, after 9 months, the paint smell is still strong enough to give my wife headaches.Complained to management again now that my wife is living here all day. After a week, Tony said she would send the maintenance man to check¦but he never came. I guess her residents well-being is not worth the half-minute walk to our apartment??PROS (why I give 2 stars rather than 1):-Quiet-All the neighbors Ive met are friendly and decent-Nice-looking grounds, shaded by big treesBottom line: Be prepared to spend several hundred bucks on appliances like an air purifier, microwave, and space heater. Healthwise, expect significant contact with paint chemicals and cigarette smoke. more ... hide ...

We always choose HSL Properties in AZ...have been at Foothills for nearly 2 years. Staff, processes and Mgmt are always professional. Only had 1 maintenance issue and it was handled quickly. Currently there have been common area issues: IE~laundry. But understandable with nation wide shortages of parts and staffing. Wish (some) residents would clean up after themselves and their pets, most do. (laundry looks like a frat house hours after its cleaned, frustrating for the staff and residents that respect others). That just adds to the problem. Should use cameras and fine them. Should require stool samples for pets and fine them. Other places do. more ... hide ...

Very horrible and corrupt place. Management of this place is the worst, she thinks its okay to talk to people any way she wants but if you stand up for yourself she will do everything in her power to make your life hell, like she will try to tow your car, shell try to take rent but not give a recipe so later she can say you didnt pay it and kick you out and most of all she will find every reason not to give your deposit back no matter how good the apartment looks when you move out. Do not move here unless they remove Norma from being landlady. Also they dont fix anything needing to be fix. Nothing has been replaced when it needed to be. The pool is always disgusting and never maintained. And theres black spots that come up in the carpets which carpenters have said thats black mold but theyll do nothing about it and if you see black mold in your bathroom they will just cover it with cock instead of actually dealing with it. Its a very horrible place to live in. Oh and apartments smell horrible. more ... hide ...
