I am a resident at Saint Clair Landings and I believe it to be a beautiful place to live in. The people here are nice the accommodations are beautiful and the building has been totally revamped and its a nice place to li ve. We have a view of the Saint Clair River, we have access to the buses right out front and back doors and we can get on the bus and go anywhere in this city. Its a nice place to live and yes there are problems here at times, but no apartment complex is perfect . Are problems in every complex no matter what . But we have Darcy,the manager, and Matt and Katie are here and they try and solve every problem as soon as possible. Theyre good people, they manage the building well and they do the best that they can for all the residents. They help people out, they do things Beyond what their job descriptions say and theyre all good people. This is a nice place to live no matter what anyone else says! All those are reviews or comments in this section that we have bed bugs, when we do have bed bugs like all the other complexes in the city, Darcy our manager, has them exterminated right away so that we dont have an infestation of bed bugs. more ... hide ...

I had a horrible experience with this organization, especially with the property manager, and then unfortunately with her supervisor. After I approached the property manager asking about the cost to break my lease, she a ssured me that it would be no problem as long as I gave her 30 days. I gave her more than 30 days notice, but then contrary to her promise she immediately began backpedaling on her own guidance. Ultimately, she failed to rent my apartment anew. Fine...I did the right thing. I left the apartment in fine shape, and I lived up to my end of the bargain. Unlike these crooks, I sent them additional monthly rent payments without making them chase me down.Then I learned independently that they had rented the place halfway through one of the months that I had already paid for. I emailed several times without response, and called and finally had the property manager assure me that she had submitted a check request for me to be reimbursed but no check ever came. So, after repeated failed contacts, I bumped it up to her supervisor. At least she responded, but then she shamefully didnt honor her managers commitment. She manipulated the numbers and the agreement so that she could ultimately tell me that I would owe them despite what her manager had assured me.In the end, these people are shysters. Although the property is decent and the maintenance manager is a good dood, I cant recommend that anyone enter a contract with unethical and unprofessional people like this! If I ran my business like these people do, my clients would fire me; but I guess its easy to prey upon renters, especially in Pontiac. Shameful lack of professionalism. It makes it so that I never want to rent from a large organization ever again. more ... hide ...
