Applied for an apartment in the beginning of august and payed all the fees and no one there even bothered to look into it for a month. Called again in September to see if they finally were able to find out anything and a pplication was approved and no one there even bothered to notify me. I had to call multiple times for them just to tell me theyll call me back, which they never did.. I finally get fed up since its ridiculous that Ive been trying to move into this place and no one would acknowledge my application and give me any info so I try to get my $100 back. Well since its been a month since I was approved, Im not able to get a refund because I waited too long after being approved when NO ONE EVEN CALLED OR NOTIFIED ME TO TELL ME I WAS APPROVED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! I filled out the app, paid them, and they never even bothered to look at it or anything unless I called. The staff here is super incompetent and Im out $150 but maybe its a blessing is disguise, after seeing all the reviews, I dont think I want to stay here anyways. Dont even bother trying to apply here, theyll just ignore it and take your money more ... hide ...

Hope Harbor Apartments for Seniors is a more appropriate name. That is, these are apartments that restrict rental to senior citizens only. It is not a senior living facility so dont expect the activities and conveniences offered by local senior living facilities. The rent is comparable to other apartments in the area. The rent is expensive compared to other senior apartments which limit rent to 30% of income. It is a relatively new building being about a year old and the grounds are well maintained. It does have a gym and computer lab. To access them you have to get the key from the office. The office is open Mon. - Fri., 9am to 5pm. These amenities are unavailable outside of those hours. A salon is there but isnt staffed. There is no on-site management or maintenance so I dont know how after hour emergencies are handled. The design of each apartment shows attention was focused on the safety and mobility issues of a senior citizen. Having laundry facilities within each apartment is a big plus. For entry after 5pm the resident has a personal code to enter. Though this offers a good level of security, the codes have been shared with food delivery people and other non-residents. Because of the sharing of codes and the fact that seniors are known to have failing memories, a key card might be a better option for security. The designated Tornado Shelter is questionable as a tornado shelter in Oklahoma. My fireman relative has advised that the 1st floor hallway offers the safest shelter. He also noticed that there is no capacity signage for the community room or evacuation maps posted anywhere. The post office and public library are less than a mile away. The polling place is at a church about a mile away making it easy to vote. more ... hide ...

My mom has lived here for several years. It is a safe quiet community. The apartments are nice and well kept. The office staff is great as well.

Hello.i have lived here for over a year.i have seen some management changes a few times..but with the 2 ladies in the office now,,I think they got it right this time..they are very patient with the tenets..they show comp ation..and they will work with the tenets as much as they are able to do..I hope this is the last change...this one works..always quick to get the work orders handled..im happy with the apts and the management.. more ... hide ...
