I lived here for a year and a half, most of the first year under Crowne and the last several months as Residences. Under the new management there were definite changes, the buildings were painted and exterior light fixtu res replaced.The building I was in was pressure washed in October in preparation for painting. During this the fire alarm panel outside of my apartment got wet and it shorted something out. This created an error causing the panel to alarm. From when this started in October until I moved out at the end of December this was never fixed. I was assured consistently that it was being looked into and that they were trying to get it repaired.Meanwhile I had a panel in the wall beeping at all hours waking me up at night and making it difficult to watch tv or do much of anything in the living roo.. Eventually the panel was left open and every day I would go outside to silence the alarm to have some peace as the silence function only worked for 24 hours at a time. My worry always was what if there was a fire? Would the alarm go off as it is supposed to or would this error in the panel cause it to not go off.On a different note, when I moved out I was assessed a \"cleaning fee\" for an apartment which was left immaculately clean. And this was only after contacting the office to get a copy of the final statement, which took several tries as the original statement I was given said I owed several hundred dollars.My understanding is a cleaning fee is only ever assessed when an apartment is left in a state where drastic measures are needed to clean it. In the end it feels like they were just trying to find a way to keep more of my security deposit rather than surrendering back to me. more ... hide ...

This complex is located in the 12 bus route and is across the street from family dollar, taco bell, and a gas station. Theres an atm, sub shop, Mexican restaurant and soul food place next door. The owners do a pretty goo d job on the maintenance and landscaping. This place has an amazing courtyard with grill area and even a nice pool. For the location and value i give 4 stars. more ... hide ...

I am so ELATED that Susan Teeter is steeping down in here lead role and giving Jose GuzmanA chance to right her wrongs. Susan is too discrimative to have been placed in the position she HAD, and eventually IF it hasnt al ready happend she would have had her named thrown in a lawsuit against this complex. David the so called \"LEAD\" maintenance man who sits in the lab on the computer and doesnt FIX ANYTHING ..MEANWHILE TENATES WHO PAY RENT CANT USE THE COMPUTER LAB TO FIND GAINFUL EMPLOYEMENT.... while my subsidy is paying for electricity to be on in there??? smh there you have it...SUSAN AND DAVID ARE THE REASON I GVIE THIS Apartment COMPLEX a ONE . more ... hide ...
