UPDATE: raised our rates and now the building is a giant construction zone, halls are dirty, building isnt being clean once a week like it was, still no roof furniture on the patio.REALLY SORRY I RENEWED HERE. gorham pro perties raised the rent in 2016 and now they are raising the rent for 2017 from $122 and $142 on an efficiencies, many tenants are on fixed incomes. Their rates on efficiencies are now equal to The Constellation, high-end apartments, which these are not. They are older in need of many upgrades, like new carpet and appliances, to even be sub Constellation quality.once you get management to acknowledge an issue, maintenance here is beyond compare. The management does a really great job. My husband and I have had a really good experience with Kate and Steve. They got our unit ready early so that we had multiple days to move in and are always really quick to address any maintenance or other issues that come up. This is the second apartment that we are renting from Kate and each time, the staff is very polite, friendly, and happy to assist. The one gentleman even takes off his shoes each time he goes into the apartment to fix something, which is something that really made an impression on me. I also love that the apartments have little details that other management companies dont bother with but make a huge difference. The European door knobs (that allow you to open up doors even if you have your hands full), soft close cabinets, and well thought-out closets/ flooring choices make a huge difference in the living quality. The only downside I can see is the internet speed capacity since the building would need to be rewired. But I personally think it is very much worth it for all the perks of this place. Overall, were really happy to be renting with a good company that clearly cares about their apartments and is always working on renovating their apartments, improving the common space, and actually caring for their customers. more ... hide ...
