Dont want to be watched like a hawk? Or told when u can and cant have company? Or have your company cars towed, even though they park in visitors parking???...or if u like to control your own heat?...or if you like to co ok on stove tops and in ovens that work? Or if u like to control your own porch light?? Or if your kids cant be on YOUR PORCH without u present? Or that u cant have your kids bikes on the lawn? Or how about having the previous tenant before you still having access to your mailbox and it takes management a month to fix the problem?? THEN STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM KENNEDY HEIGHTS!!! THE NEW MANAGER IS A DISCRIMINATING, RACIST, MISERABLE PERSON. WHO HAS NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN TO WATCH CAMERAS ALL DAY AND MAKE PEOPLE WHO NEED EXTRA HELP ALREADY LIVES WAY HARDER. You should expect a 10 day notice for everything even having company on the weekend. When SHE (THE NEW MANAGER) is never in the office when she should be (weekdays!) But apparently is always there after hours and on weekends smdh. If u want to live a decent life and raise your kids in a happy and safe from a hateful environment...then cross Kennedy Heights townhomes off the list and keep searching... You deserve better! Looks are not everything.Pros- modern- newer- location- amenities/clubhouse- The maintenance staff is awesome theyre super quick and very helpful.Con-Packages. Due to having over 20 buildings that look the same and r epeat apartment numbers getting your packages is a nightmare. During the holiday season Amazon even goes as far as just putting all the packages in the clubhouse some evenings. Needless to say there has been many times that we have had to re-order items or request a refund because we never received the package. Management is aware of this issue and had replied to update our instructions for Amazon. Unfortunately that did not work.- noise (I could here my neighbor close their soft close cabinets)- fast build - our garage leaked day one and was fixed the same water stains were back the following summer.- management - lacks communication (when our garage leaked we had workers knock on our door, saying we are here to work. we had no idea we had to move our car and where going to be told to park in guest parking) this fix took weeks of random days with random workers with no Communication from the office only them replying to our calls. The management way to apologize was a $70 gift card for dinner. Which isnt close to the price we pay per sq ft for a garage/secure parking.- Snow removal. Is a joke. Our first winter we were plowed in with a 9 foot or more snowmound at our front door. They have in the lease timeframes that they are supposed to plow by. unfortunately, that does not always get met. This is due to the fact that they contract out snow plowing last minute every year. One year the company was great and the other other company sucked.- Move out - we had the place professionally cleaned. Did a walk-through with one of the office staff (who said everything looks great) and received a bill for cleaning that was deducted from our security deposit. It gets better. 3 phone calls requesting photos of the two hours worth of cleaning they said was needed. We need photos to show the company we paid and nothing¦ Nothing for four weeks (and counting).- bugs in first floor apartments. Every spring there is an issue with bugs on the first floor apartments lots of them. centipedes and ants. Even though this was a known issue we had to put in maintenance request every time we wanted our apartments serviced for bugs. The maintenance staff is awesome theyre super quick and very helpful.- Dont forget about the birds that nest above your garage then they poop all over your car. (we asked the management if they could do an easy fix and put a lattice or webbing above the garage. they said no)We had signed an 18 month lease dont make the same mistake we did. This was our experience and I know others have had very positive ones. I hope that the company is reviewing these and taking actions for others not to experience what we did.Attached are some of the move-in pictures.
