I love, love, love, love our apartment. This is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. Our apartment is spacious and well priced. The property is cleaned and well taken care of. The property is cleaned and well taken care of. Everyone is nice. We€™re in a great area of town near lots of local restaurants and stores. Easy commute to any part of the city. Parking can be tight but I have a big car. I love our little place in the middle of a glen. It€™s like a little haven in the middle of the city. Here€™s the thing, every complex has problems from water heater to doors not working they all have them. But it€™s how they handle them and how often they happen that make the difference. We€™ve always been given tons of notice when water was going to be turned off or if anything needed to happen for repairs. THIS PLACE SHOULD HAVE A LAWSUIT, DO NOT LIVE HERE. Maintenance doesnt fix anything. They harass you over visitors, and will evict you for it. Completed my move in inspection checklist and annotated everything that was dirty and disgusting upon move in April of 2021 and turned it into the leasing office and was acknowledged but nothing ever done about the dirtiCompleted my move in inspection checklist and annotated everything that was dirty and disgusting upon move in April of 2021 and turned it into the leasing office and was acknowledged but nothing ever done about the dirtiness of the carpet or apartment upon move in. Due to a military PCS I moved out 8 months later. My deposit was 600 for this apartment and 300 was taken from that deposit after move out for carpet cleaning, cleaning, and paint touch up when the apartment and the carpet was already dirty and smelled like cigarettes upon move in. Management completely disregarded to compare the move in inspection checklist upon move out and carelessly charged for cleaning of the carpet and apartment when it wasn€™t even cleaned upon move in. Upon move out the apartment was cleaned and left in better conditions than when I moved in. Would not recommend these apartments, management is absolutely garbage and are just looking to make a extra dollar off of their residents.more ...hide ...

Berkshire apartments is easily the worst apartment complex in Colorado Springs. This was a terrible experience for me. If I could rate it with zero stars, I absolutely would! If I could rate it with zero stars, I absolutely would! My neighbors were always loud, maintenance never addressed issues, there was a lot of litter and pet waste on the grounds, and police were routinely summoned. It was never safe to take my dogs out after dark. During the winter, my apartment was always cold because the windows were not sealed or insulated. Snow would get into the apartment, and maintenance never came to fix it. The management is incredibly unprofessional; the current manager doesn't seem to care about the tenants. The last straw was when I moved out and they charged me for normal wear and tear, which they were supposed to repair but never did. I would never suggest anyone live at Berkshire apartments; I'm so glad I moved to a new place!more ...hide ...
