In response to management, efforts were made to put carpets in my unit and above me, but it did not make a difference. To test, one person walked in the unit above and the other listened below - the walking in socks still made the ceiling reverberate. Other reviews mention the same issue, so potential tenants should be aware. It is a common issue in multi-story apartment dwellings, and this property is not one of the better ones in this regard. It is advised to be wary of the property managers as well - they appear pleasant until you sign, but after that they are not so concerned.
