Moved here in the middle of December 2021The move in process was not difficult. We liked the apartment. when moving in we saw dead roaches, I didnt think we were going to have a bug problem since I had never had one before. I let the office know, at the time Ana was working here she recently stopped working here I would say for about a month. She had maintenance come as soon as We would let her know We had a problem in the apartment. 3 months in into our lease the mail boxes got damaged. Seems like they got pulled out. 3 months later the mail boxes are still not fixed. I dont have a car so I would go to the post office once every other week. Since its been 2/3months the post office said they will not hold our mail anymore & be returned to sender. I was expecting VERY important mail & i will not be receiving it. I really dont think thats fair since We all pa our rent that is over 1700! I will not be receiving my sons birth certificate, my two car titles OR my brothers letters, which I have not seen in months since hes in training to fight for our freedom.I tried to at least place MY own mail on hold at the post office & they told me that that was not possible since the address is from these apartments..so I went to the leasing office here & was told You can go ahead & get a PO Box but we well not reimburse you .. why would I Rent a PO Box when I already pay my rent here? & I should have a mail box.Also, another problem they have is gun shots at night. They even posted on our door a paper saying that the Thornton police department need our help because on June 17th around 2am there was multiple gun shots fired down the street on Mariposa St. there were several vehicles & buildings struck but thankfully no victims.The bug problem isnt that bad. We see a roach like once a month (our apartment is clean) - if you let them know theyll send pest controlThis review couldve been a one star but the manager Elizabeth has been so generous to us & like I said when we have a problem that requires maintenance, theyre quick on it. In general, my experience at Remington for four years was very good. The homes are spacious and well-maintained. The maintenance crew are excellent and they respond to any issues quickly and reliably. The grounds are cle an and well cared for. Having the pool open all year was an extra bonus for my kids on those warm Colorado days in May and September, when most places close their pools.I had a few issues with reception matters, but I found that we could always come to a reasonable and satisfactory agreement for all parties.My biggest observation was the thin floors. We lived on the top floor and for a while received consistent noise complaints from those below us. We were just living a normal life (walking and talking in our home), but apparently the noise traveled through loudly. So try to sneak in on the top floor if noise is a problem to you.The location is also excellent - so close to shops, parks and a great library.We enjoyed our years at Remington - it was definitely a good home to us.
