I lived here for awhile. Well you get what you pay for in this case. They only have one person come spray once a month but only for people on the list and if he doesnt get to your apartment that day to bad have to call t he office and sign up again. I did this for four months no one came. So I had to deal with it myself now I have no issues with bugs. Now I have a mold problem their only solution was a bleach spray. They said they would take the AC out since it is all the way through the system said two weeks. Now two months later nothing. Also doors and windows have it too so I have to wipe down it. Since most of the time washer and dryer are broken we bought our own. Open all the windows and doors with fans. We have water damage but they never take care of it our heater keeps on breaking never stays fixed longer than a week. I am currently trying to find a place since I have two children. They have gotten sick my four month old still has issues. Myself I am allergic and it sets off my breathing problems. Tomorrow is the last shot before I go the housing department. Why should my family suffer for their neglect of a suitable place to live. I mean I get it is cheap but breathable air, warm air or cooler air is not to much to ask for. Unfortunately, were at the point where I have to resort to leaving a poor review. Office never picks up phone and will not respond to my emails. They are charging me an unauthorized amount for 3 months in a row, rega rdless of documentation.Since we are doing a review.1. Its a gated community, but the gates are regularly broken and left open.2. My car was broken into and naturally nothing can be done by the community, nor did they seem to care3. Screaming matches at 2am outside have been a fun bonus near my building. There doesnt seem to be any security.5. Mailboxes were broken into at one point6. The pool has barely been open a month and its closed again.7. Trash pickup is rarely on time, and some days never comes at all, yet we are required to pay a monthly fee for 5x/week valet pickup.8. Office people have been great in person, but no one seems to be able to help me with the problems Im having with billing. more ... hide ...

I have a couple of friends that live there. They say the maintenance is very good and everything is kept very clean. I wish they had patios. Management is very good..

Ive lived here just under a year. While my experiences are personal and not necessarily the experiences of others; I cannot recommend Silver Reef. My experiences are of loud neighbors at all hours. If loud music is no t an issue for you, this is one of the least expensive/best value apartment complexes in the Lakewood area.Update 7/2022. There is a violent pet on the property (a pet of a tenant) that attacks other animals, and on multiple occasions has forced open my balcony screen door and attacked my cat. A recent discussion with a management representative led no where. My perception is the property management is not concerned with violent pets on the property. Very disappointing. more ... hide ...
