Ive always liked these apartments oh, I have a family member who lived in there and recently, they completely remodeled this whole complex from the inside out and it is beautiful. However, they do take Section 8 tenants which is completely fine oh, they also take regular tenants but since theyve remodeled, they do have cameras all over the property which can be a good thing in case your car is broken into, apartment is broken into or whatever but you are not allowed to smoke on the property at all. You literally have to walk to the street even if you rent an apartment in this complex and smoke at the street and I think thats absolutely ridiculous when you pay to live somewhere, you should be able to smoke on your front or back porch. If you dont have a front porch which usually you dont have both English departments but you should be able to smoke on your porch if thats what you want to do and you shouldnt have to fear that the maintenance man or whoever is going to walk by and you get in trouble and or written up or kicked out. I think thats ludicrous but this is not the only complex doing this. There are tons of complexes especially the ones that take Section 8 that are going to 100% non-smoking property. I just think its really stupid because whether or not its a non-smoking apartment complex, thats not going to make or break the deal for someone to move in. This is something new and 99% of the time, you dont even know when someone is smoking a cigarette including your own neighbor but I cant say the apartments are absolutely gorgeous since they have done the remodeling a couple of years ago. They truly are very pretty on the inside and they look much better on the outside! If you have any kind of felony or if youve even been arrested for a felony, dont even try. You will waste $50. Im going to be honest and say that me and my husband have a past but I got clean and he did not. We were both arrested for possession with the intent to distribute and my charges got dropped because he took all the charges, as he should have, but because that arrest showed up, they would not add me to my family members lease and it had nothing to do with Section 8, it was all a part of the policy of the apartment complex but they do have new owners now so I cant say that it will be the same but the new owners are obviously much more strict. I dont even have any felonies on my record and I still couldnt even be added to a lease. Maybe that was God, it didnt need to happen because this particular family member suckers with bipolar and it could have been a recipe for disaster especially for my very young son at the time so it could have been a blessing in disguise but I wouldnt waste your $50 application be trying here first. At least ask before paying that $50, just be honest and upfront because they can even see your arrest, not just convictions but your actual arrest history! more ... hide ...

The amazing Staff at Wellington point has been nothing but amazing. From the beginning of the process to the end of the moving process they were helpful insightful and all around charming. I didnt have to worry about them not picking up my calls or feel like I was being neglecting. When I first stepped foot on the property back in March I knew I was at home. The air is different here. I completely understand why the availability is the way it is. I wouldnt want to leave ever. It feels like a vacation at home and a home on vacation. The environment is nothing short of welcoming. When you explain to people your needs and urgency they are suppose to show compassion then you feel a sense of humanity and that they are listening. The staff at Wellington Point did just that. I was welcomed by the staff from day one. I usually never leave reviews on Google but this was a must. Upon moving in I received a welcome basket and was given pizza. This type of humanity and compassion really will bring a tear to your eye. We need more people in the world like Misti, Brittany, TerryAnn, Felecia, Shelby, & Wayne.To the staff: You ALL do an amazing job thank you so much. more ... hide ...

I have been living here at Gardenwood apartments for four years now. I must say the management team we have in the office now is the best we have had since Tasha left. Ms. Sheilette Sheffield the assistant manager is ver y professional and always handling things in a timely manner for me. VERY POOR MAINTENANCE/ MANAGEMENT..1star.as of Last week my daughter reported they have NOW REPAIRED/ REPLACED her issues..I was the one concerned/ complaining 5 stars...
