Im not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from, but my husband and I have lived in the Riverview Apartments almost three years now. I have had such good experiences, of which I will share:If anything weat her related has even happened to the outside of the apartment, almost always the staff catches it before I even have time to report it (siding damage during windstorm, etc) but in the case where I have reported issues via email, they get back to me within a day and it is fixed within the next business day. There have occasionally been a few resident-related issues (kids dragging garbage out to make forts, what seemed to be someone stealing a bike, etc) and with a kind email or walking up to the office, it was taken care of so considerately and quickly. If youre complaining about the price, I also hate paying what seems like an astronomical price (in comparison to local prices just 4 years ago) for rent just as anyone else does, HOWEVER, it is actually a pretty normal rate for this area. We keep tabs on housing prices and this is still more affordable than a house at this point.I have many acquaintances/friends living in different apartment complexes and I have been floored when I go to visit them and see how trashed their apartments are! From holes in the walls to hardly any landscaping done. The Villas especially here at Riverview are kept so nice. I had only two small complaints at moving in to our very spacious 2 bed 2 bath apartment from our smaller one before our baby was born¦a little edge of carpet was starting to rip and a tiny portion of floor trim was crooked in the master bath. Totally easy to live with and havent gotten worse or caused us issues.Ive had nothing but pleasant face-to-face and phone conversations with all the staff here¦once we were accidentally charged a pet fee a few months when we dont have one and they refunded us without question and quickly.Apartment living might not be the most luxurious life, but Riverview does such a good job at landscaping, dealing with quite the wide variety of people, upkeep on apartment items like fire extinguishers, garage heaters, and smoke detectors, as well as being friendly. They have a middle aged landscaper that my one year old son hears mowing and we run to the window and he always has waves at my son when he sees him, and makes his day. We also appreciate how safe + quiet it is here. The Villas are so quiet compared to the regular apartments of course. Also when we moved from our old apartment to new one (both riverview apts) they easily gave us our deposit back. We did do our very best to take good care of our apartment but it was still well loved and lived in. I felt they were very reasonable in this. I will update about our current apartment deposit when we eventually leave to a new home.I have had chronic health issues for many years and am very sensitive to electromagnetic frequencies. I didnt realize at our old apartment it was up against 28 or so smart meters for the building. I understood once I figured that out why my severe insomnia, anxiety, and horrible headaches were worse since I had moved in there. I was able to get a dr note and they willingly let us switch apartments in the middle of the lease. I thought this was so kind especially since EMF sensitivity is hardly understood or heard of it seems. more ... hide ...

Been here 2 years and signing a third lease soon. Staff is very friendly, and very efficient. Treat people the way you want treated, and they do the same back. Everyone has a bad day once in a while. Getting me a small d og soon. They are fine with pets here. Pet deposit is $300. Fair is fair puppies have accidents on the carpet sometimes. They have treated myself, and a friend of mine who moved in the same day, more than fairly. They have been kind, and caring towards us. Breath of fresh air from living in Boise. more ... hide ...
