AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!It looks good from the outside, but a walk through will give you the real picture of their lack of maintenance: Hallway carpets are a nasty, dirty, dog waste spotted mess...the parking garage overhead entry door often does not work....their answer is to leave the door open along with the unlocked door entry to the building. ..they are NOT very security conscience..the police have been called when an unknown man was found sleeping in the stair well to escape the winter cold. The elevator is not reliable. Experienced several days without it...(moving in or out can present issues without the elevator if youre not on the first floor) Not to mention everyday needs/access.After the lease is signed, the office staff become unhelpful, and unpleasant.....bordering on rude. They do not provide any orientation or anything as simple as a welcome packet with basic information. I have helped several new residents understand how to dispose of their trash bags after I learned the process from another resident. They made several mistakes regarding coding my entry info for the security door. They forgot to process some lease info requiring me to redo.I paid extra for garage parking and they were always going to get me my parking tag...They are \"ALWAYS\" going to help you, but never do.They have many rules, but none seemed to be enforced, e.g. having to enter the building through a cloud of smoke. Or, dogs allowed to run off leash.Like most places they find ways to keep your deposit and even bill you for a bit extra. That is almost too be expected, BUT, these \"folks\" have taken it to a new level...they send you the bill (to your Brookhaven address even though they have your new address) that states it is due within 30 days or will be turned over to collections. Their twist is: they wait about 14 days to mail it.... So, between the mail forwarding process and their delay in mailing.... there is an obvious attempt to create a problem. In my experience the office staff are disingenuous, and rude people interested only in meeting whatever quotas that have been imposed by their offsite leadership.Again, I second Mary Brown...my recommendation is to avoid this place! more ... hide ...

Tried working with the lady in the office for a friend who was waiting for an apartment and she was very very rude and likes to yell at people in need.

Yes we stayed here from April 29 to May 2 I think they have your own car ports to park or you can park in the front. Nice 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen fully equipped. When we came here they had given us the wrong co mbination for the lockbox but was quickly updated with a phone call to management. more ... hide ...

This is an historical building with awesome architectural features and it is listed as low income but it also houses many other types of individuals, including me. My mother was born here when it was St Edward Catholic H ospital (God, rest her soul). In closing I would like to also include, this would/could be an outstanding place to reside if only the rif raf/drug dealers in the neighborhood and the building where maintained to a higher standard. more ... hide ...
