On March 23, 2020, I turned in a 30 day notice to move out of my apartment unit Sterchi Ridge Apartment Homes. April 23, 2020 was my designated move out date. Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19, I spoke with the office manager and she allowed me to stay until the end of the month. She gave me the date of May 1, 2020, and allowed me to carry out the rest of the month in the apartment. On April 24, 2020, I received an unexpected phone call from the office manager telling me that I had to be out by the weekend. I had not completed my packing. That weekend, I rushed and called movers and was forced to find somewhere to go at the last minute. Im so thankful for family!After a long weekend of rushing to complete packing up my items, I completely forgot to turn i in my apartment keys to the office manager. On April 27, 2020, I receive a call from the office manager who told me that if i didnt turn in my apartment keys that i would be receiving an eviction notice, and that she would be contacting an attorney. I apologize to the manage and explained to her that due to be rushed out the apartment, I forgot to turn in my keys. I was at work so she had to wait til i got off. But as soon as i clocked out, i hurried and turned in my keys to the office. I inquired about my rental check for paying the full months rent. I asked due to leaving a week early. The manage stated that she would be mailing me a check after the apartment has been inspected. I never received a call from the manager or a check in the mail so I decided to follow-up. Upon doing so, the manager told me to give it more time so i did. There were no damages to the apartment and i kept it in good condition. I called every week until the manager told me to give it 30 days for processing. Now, we are in July and i still havent received my refund for moving out early. This company is not hold integrity and based on my experience, is not very ethical.¢On the other hand, the apartments are beautiful on the inside and had just the right space.¢Finally, do not get comfortable with ANY office manager as they are always with someone new running the office. more ... hide ...

I have really enjoyed my time here overall. We have been here quite a while, my family and I. Maintenance is very responsive and on top of requests. Wendy in the front office has been very fair and very sweet over the co urse of our stay here. She always makes sure everyone is taken care of. I would recommend Gallatin Park apartments for anyone in search of apartment living. This is definitely one of the better places that I have resided in when it comes to apartments. The grounds are well taken care of and everyone seems to take care about their living spaces well. one thing I would change would be to add a coat closet off of the living room. Ive Been Living Here For 3yrs Now1. My Air Doesnt Work Ive Complained Numerous Of Times & Instead Of Them Replacing It They Continue To Patch It Up2. My Oven Has Went Out 7x To Where They Have To Keep Replaci ng The Back Board & Of Course They Dont Never Have Any In Office So I Go Days Without An Oven3. The Electricity Box Pops Throughout The Day & Night I Have Also Complained About This & Nothing Has Been Done About It4. Ive Had To Call Twice About Not Having Any Hot Water & Then When Maintenance Do Come To Fix It, It Takes Hrs For The Water To Actually Get Hot5. My Washer Water Hoses Are Incorrect When Mentioning That I Was Told To Just Switch My Tubes/Hoses Around To The Opposite Ones & It Should Work FineManager In Office Is Always Making Up Excuses To Why Everything Is Going On In My TownhomeIve Had No Problems With Neighbors Or Parking To Be Honest However The Gate Has Never Worked Since Ive Been Here Pool Is Always Dirty Dumpsters Overfilled Trash All Of The Ground It Took The 3rd Yr For Them To Paint My Front Door Oh Yeah The Outlets In Townhome Are Very Loose To Where The Plug Doesnt Stay In There Is No Smoking Of Any Kind Inside The ApartmentDog Are Suppose To Be On LeashKids Are Not Allowed Outside Without An AdultUm Is There Anything Else YES Maintenance Took Pics Of The Items Inside Of My Home Stating That The 4 Hookahs Were Causing The Air Not To Work Due To The AirFilters Always Being Black I Also Had To Purchase A Portable Air Conditioner Due To The Fact Window Air Conditioner Are Not Allowed & Also It Was Extremely To Hot For Me & My Kids To Stay Inside Of The Townhome When I Complained About That Manager Stated She Was Unsure On Why I Keep Having The Same Problem I Do NOT Recommend Anyone Living Here Until They Upgrade The Property more ... hide ...

If you have children, this is NOT a safe environment! I was blessed to stay in both the old, and new, every room in my apartment was shot up in the new ones, from a drive by, trying to target people upstairs from me and the leasing office doesnt do anything!! Police dont do anything
They wont even give you an emergency voucher if your at fear for your life, they will only offer moving you to another apartment smh and to top it off, they still expect you to pay rent even though your life is in jeopardy just by throwing the trash out! If you care about yourself and kids enough, go somewhere else, FORREAL. GOD BLESS more ... hide ...
