I am a mom female in 40s with a son in his 20s female on the application We are waiting for the voucher from Augusta Georgia Housing Authority we have a section 8 voucher in Florida that will be transferred we are porting and relocating to Augusta Georgia I have lived in the same unit in Florida since October 2014 a 33 two story gated community condominium with camper RV parking storage and 3 parking spots My voucher says 33 on it for Florida for Georgia it will say 2bedroom unit I prefer 2 bathrooms and 2 parking spots willing to consider 15 baths and 2 parking spots we understand that we might not be able to find such great housing in Georgia i am able to get reference letter from landlord after walk through before I leave Florida We are moving because we are estheticians and laws changed in Florida that make it illegal for us to do what we used to do for work we are waiting for our Georgia esthetics license as we can do what we know how to do in Georgia as it is legal there we must wait to be in Georgia to get new jobs I must find a place from Florida to move to Georgia as my lease here expires oct 31st 2023 i need to move in September or in October I cannot go to Georgia before i move due to expenses I am currently living off savings I need safe housing a good area with no crime or little crime I do have pets and will not part with them I have one cat that is mine and a good cat i have one cat that is my sons cat who is 18 years old and i am unsure if he will make it past this year We had a small dog that passed way at 17 this month in July I also have another cat that i am taking care of that belongs to my son who is deployed in the USA NAVY overseas And we have a dog who is register as emotional support dog and has papers we are aware no fees or rent can be asked for him he will be going to classes to certified as service dog once we are in Georgia and get new jobs At my current unit in Florida i did not have to put down any deposits fees or pet charges of any sort i understand in some housing places i will have to and mean while its affordable i will be able to due to lack income and lack of money currently if you have high fees please dont contact me as i will not be able to pay them i am literally living on my last dollars and need to move ASAP a rental truck cost over 1k so i need to keep my expenses low i do have my own washer and dryer if i need them let me know if not ill try to sell them My son and i have clean records and we have proof from the sheriffs office here and we also have credit scores of 600 or so If the place to live has a garage or storage that be great or parking for a small camperrv even better we have parking here where we live for one that its used to get back and forth to see my elderly parents its not suitable for living inside full time but good for travel and sleeping on the road i will not be coming to Georgia with it right away as I need to drive the moving truck If you think we are a good fit contact me thank you I need to sign a lease and move by mid October no later ok with September as well Thanks PS i do not know value of my voucher as it does not say i have a copy of it from florida which is the one that just got approved to port out #*#*# hidden# exp 2024 and that is what Georgia will duplicate from my understanding If i can move sooner is good too i barely have money so dont want to stay in florida i need to move as soon as possible so i can work
