Hello My name is **** **** and I am on the section 8 program I have been on the program for the past 30 years In that time I have only resided in 2 different homes The only reason that I am on this site right now is because my current landlord decided that she wanted to sell her this house The new owners decided that she liked the house so much that she wanted to move in it with her family immediately with her family As of the 1st of this month April I had 30 days to move I have been looking every where for a place but it is like the wild wild west out here Once I have found a cozy home I do not like to move I am disabled and I am also caring for my disabled adult son He is 28 years old I also have and ESA animal He is a 3 year old small breed and he is house broken I am one who loves to pay my bills on time I have an awesome track record with paying my rent on time I am looking for a 3 bedroom 2 bath home I am a very clean tenant I know that a lot of people get the wrong impression of some people that are on the section 8 program I do not have small children and I do not destroy or demolish other peoples property I have taken really great care of the house that I am in now Like I said before so much so that the new owner wants to move right on in I am not a filthy nor nasty individual I love an organized and clean house I am looking for move as soon as possible I have already received my transfer papers from the Fort Wayne Housing Authority I am just waiting a decent place to come available I and my son both have asthma so we cannot be in a place where there is a lot of mold and mildew I receive SSI and my son does as well I am wanting to stay in the Fort Wayne area or its surrounding counties Once I am in a place I know that I am going to be there for a while I absolutely hate the moving process I promise that I will take really good care of my new home your property It must have 3 bedrooms and 2 baths It must also have a central air unit

Ive been where Im at now for 14 months Ive never been late on rent and I am not the kind of tenant to duck and Dodge their landlord whatsoever My landlord will attest to that and he has seen me struggle this past year and though he is sad that Im leaving he is very excited because he believes I deserve this help as hard as I try Before here I stayed in a mobile home park and I was never late on rent until I was admitted in the hospital having my son which led to a lot of health complications for the both of us and extended our stay to almost 2 months Because of that my landlord at the time allowed me to sign out of my lease without it painting my background and she did that because I was an upstanding tenant and she knew what I was going through because I communicate with whoever Im renting from I will get you on both her and my current landlord whenever it is asked And for two years before there I rented from a private landlord who also ended up being my daycare provider My lease was for only a year but it was just convenient to stay longer and at the time I could afford that place considering it was prepandemic I will also give her name and contact information once it is asked I do not believe in biting the hand that feeds you and I appreciate all in any help that Im given I make sure to do my part as a tenant as well
