Lived here for about 6 years, in that time this complex wendlt through like 5 different ownership changes and with that came different staff and bad communication. Village at Bear Creek was fine and then slowly but surel y downhill it went. It had gotten to the point where we were paying as much for our like 5 times out of date apartment as a recently remodeled one and dispite how many times I told office staff we were in a unit that was not remodeled, they must have thought we were full of it because they never listened until the last 2 months of our lease when they did the intent to vacate and it all of a sudden made sense why we were upset spending as much for our out of date apartment as the remodels were.Upon move out there was some nickel and dining on things that \" needed repair\" but a few things on the list were written down on our initial walk through with company #1, a few more were items that they are already remodeling and really after almost 6 years there these items would be replace anyway (carpets for example), and then got charges for cleaning if items their guys left unfixed for months and months. Regardless, it WAS a nice place to live and has slowly gone downhill, so moving was probably for the best anyway. Wont miss this place more ... hide ...
