Just received a collection notice a year after I fulfilled a 6 month lease for $2000. No calls or invoices sent to my phone or address for a year. Went to the office and the manager said she cant give me an invoice nor d id they try to call me or mail an invoice to my address on file that I supplied when applying for the apartment. She said they mailed a notice to the apartment that they have the keys for. The one they have the mail keys for.. The one theyve been renting for a year now. Said I have to ask collections what exactly the charges are for. Called collections and they said they dont have any information. Just a total. I even called the apartment a month after the lease was fullfillled to ask when I should get the deposit back and make sure they got the keys to mailbox and apartment. She said everything was good to go and they would mail the deposit to me about 60 days after the lease was up. I asked if they have my address to send it to and she said yes. Never heard from them again until today.I would give no stars if it was an option. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to unprofessionalism, theft, false accusations to collection agencies, false information to tenants, lack of ability to resolve issues, lack of concern for their failures to be resolved.Stay away from here! They will lie,cheat and steal from you. Then give you a fake apology reply to your truthfully negative reviews. How about actually resolving the issues instead of just accepting being a failure to the tenants?When you call me to tell me the fire department will be entering the apartment but then tell me you had no way to notify me that you didnt get the last months rent Id say you are a liar. You made no attempt to resolve this and someone in that office stole the last months rent because it wasnt stamped in front of me due to covid because I had to push it through a little window. You also had a 30 written notice in the same envelope that your office said it doesnt have. So someone in that office stole the 2 money orders and threw away the notice. Walnut creek apartments will steal your rent and then send you to collections. more ... hide ...

A friend of mine live there for 2 years. He had to pay $1,368.00 as deposit. He has move out about 7month now but his deposit is still not paid back to him. Anytime he go and ask the manager, she always gives stories . She is very rude. Even today. He went there land she again gave a bogus stories. And now the manager is lying and making things up just to wast his money. I help him clean up the room, we left nothing or dirt in the apartment. Now after 7 months of not paying back the deposit, she is trying to make thing up.Please property owner, you left a message for me to reach but you didnt add any number to it.
