Just moved in this past January with my friend. We live in a two bedroom one bath unit, and we love living here! It is a great community with the most kind and friendly people you will ever meet. Barbara works in the lea sing office and she made our move in process simple and fluid. She continues to go above and beyond for her residents and she is always friendly and ready to help out. They have a little gym with a treadmill, elliptical, and a bike as well as some other training equipment which is very convenient for me and a nice added bonus. My neighbors are always quiet and polite and my apartment is pretty quiet even with being next to a busy street. The bedrooms are spacious and the living room is open concept which is very inviting. The location cant be beat! If you have the option to move in I highly recommend it! more ... hide ...

A friend of mine rented here for a year lease. He is in a National Guard Unit & is a professional. They ended their residence at Avana Eastlake & he was told to drop his keys in the drop box. Which he did and I know for a fact he did. Now they are wanting to charge him $60 for losing the keys once he placed them in the Dropbox. This is not a best practice for any management team, and one has to wonder if it is common to call tenants & prior tenants liars, when they simply do as you instructed. Record and video EVERYTHING with this management team. They are either inept in their duties or simply trying to steal money from prior tenants then threaten to hit their credit with collections, for something the management did. My advice. Get a lawyer to deal with this team & again. Video everything. Im just glad he has a witness & will show they are lying. Do better management. more ... hide ...

First off Ana Grijalva is really rude with people. She catches a attitude when you confront her on some thing you asked her to do months ago very unprofessional. If youre looking for good management and respectful of fice people I wouldnt rent here . They take for ever to help you when you request something. I asked for them to help me out with my rental assistance help months ago and every time I go their excuse is they have a lot of other things to do and alot of rental assistance applications to do. Its very upsetting because some of us truly need that help. If you live in the bottom floor except people to throw food down from up stairs from their balcony. You can hear loud music from other people renting around you and they will play loud music all night if they wanted to. more ... hide ...

Beautiful bridge, very useful and in great location. My brother and I decided to take this bridge to walk to a park close by, but we became very disappointed in how the bridge was. There was trash everywhere and the gra ffiti in the sides gave it a negative image. I wish people could be more mindful on where they throw their trash more ... hide ...

Today I visited the towers for a work related task. I am a disabled Air Force Veteran which requires me to have a service dog. When I arrived I was questioned if my dog was a service animal even though she was wearing a bright red vest that said service animal. No problem. I get asked all the time. When I went to look for the person I was scheduled to meet with (a volunteer) I went to the location where he was supposed to be. He was not there so I returned to the lobby where I was confronted by the front desk clerk and two other employees whispering (but loud enough for me to hear) about me having a service animal. The front desk clerk then stated to me that I was not allowed into the dining area with my service animal. I explained to him that it was illegal for him to deny me access. He said \"I know. But you cant take the dog into the dining area.\" I repeated again that it was illegal and offered him a copy of the ADA law that I carry with me. He did not want it and just kept telling me \"I know its illegal, but this is private property and due to health code you cannot enter the dining area.\" The ADA law supersedes this fact. I left without being able to do my job. The staff at the Pikes Peak Towers should really be retrained to understand the Americans with Disabilities Act. Im not sure who the owner is but I would love to discuss this further. This is a straight forward case of discrimination against someone with a disability. more ... hide ...
